Ladakh (“land of high passes”) is a region in northern India. It is located between the Kunlun mountain range in the north and the main Himalayas to the south. It is well-known for its remote mountain scenery and located at a high altitude – nearly 10,000 feet above sea level. … So, yes, there is less oxygen in Leh, as compared to low altitude and plane areas. Spoken Ladakhi is the mother tongue or first language of the people of Ladakh that identifies and designates certain group of people across the trans-Himalayan region. Ladakh is known as Little Tibet.

Itinerary
Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport Leh. Our representative will meet you at exit gate & transfer to your Hotel. After Breakfast complete Day rest to ACCLIMATIZE yourself to High Altitude. Evening walk with slow pace in Leh Bazaar and visit Shanti Stupa. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.
After Breakfast leave for day excursion to Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill &Sangam View where Indus & Zanskar river meet. Overnight in Leh.
After Breakfast drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung la pass the highest motor able road in the world (18,380 feet).Keep driving through Shyok River and reach Hundur by late afternoon and enjoy Double Hunk Camel safari in the evening. Overnight in NubraValley.
After Breakfast head start journey to Turtuk which is 80Kms from Nubra approx 04 Hrs drive Turtuk is the last village of India and was part of Pakistan. The village is paradise in itself the only village in Ladakh where all covered with greenery. The valley is known for its landscapes. Drive back to Hunder. Dinner and overnight in Hunder.
After Breakfast visit Deskit Monastery and drive to Pangong lake via Shayok, Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) through Changla Pass 17,350 ft. (3rd Highest Motorable road in the world), Spend time at the banks of Pangong Lake. This lake of Pangong is 5/6 kms wide and over 144 kms long and is shared by two countries (25% India and 75% China). Overnight stay in Pangong.
After breakfast, leave for Leh. Visit Thikse Gompa or Thikse Monastery is a Gompa affiliated with the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is located on top of a hill in Thiksey approximately 19 kilo-metres east of Leh in Ladakh. Proceed to Druk Padma Karpo School in Ladakh, popularly known as ‘Rancho’s School’, is delighted about the fame the Aamir Khan-starrer ‘3 Idiots’ has brought to it. Overnight in Leh.
Leh Airport drop and fly back to Destination.
