Itinerary
Arrival in Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka .Meet with our representative & after a traditional welcome, driven to the Hotel @ Bangalore for overnight stay.
Today after breakfast @ 10.00 am, we proceed for sightseeing this beautiful garden city. This tour through the plateau state of Karnatka begins in Bangalore, the bustling capital of the state of Karnataka. Bangalore is also considered the Indian one Silicon Valley, but also as a city of avenues and gardens. Today you go on a city tour. The tour starts with the Lal Bagh Gardens, the most beautiful park in Bangalore with a glass pavilion the year 1881. Continue exploring the famous Bull Temple with its granite Block-carved Nandi, the mount of the god Shiva. Afterwards you drive past the Vidhan Sabha, the government headquarters built in the neo-Dravidian style in the mid-1950s.

After breakfast@ 10.00 am, we proceed towards Mysore. The palaces and royal garden of Mysore, ‘The Jewel of Karnataka’, provide glimpses of its past grandeur. Mysore is well known for its Silk also. After breakfast @ 08.30 am, we proceed 35km to Somnathapur& Srirangapatna where you can see the famous 13th century temple well known for its great architectural beauty. The star shaped temple with three shrines named after Prasanna Chenna Keshava is the latest and well-preserved heritage of hoysala architecture. Afternoon visit the Maharaja Palace, the Maharaja’s Palace is one of the largest in the country, embellished with stunned glass and domes and turrets giving it an ethereal air. Then visit the Chamundi Hill lies just outside the city and is topped by a temple to Chamundi, the Raja chosen deity. Half way up the hill, sits a huge granite statue of Nandi, the bull, Lord Shiva’s vehicle, and the route is dotted with other minor shrines. Mysore Palace ,the Maharaja’s Palace is one of the largest in the country, embellished with stunned glass and domes and turrets giving it an ethereal air. After sightseeing back to the Hotel . Today after breakfast @ 10.00 am, we drive towards Bandipur Tiger Reserve . Biogeographically, the Bandipur Tiger Reserve lies in one of the largest areas biological diversity of our country which is the Western Ghats Mountains Biogeography Zone Panwar, 1988), surrounded by Mudumalai Tiger Reserve in the south, Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary in the southwest and on the northwest the Kabini Reservoir separates the Bandipur and Nagarahole Tiger Reserve. The north side of the tiger reserve is occupied by man dominated landscape with villages and agricultural areas. In the evening @ 03.00 pm, you can enjoy a safari. Rest of the free to relax.

Today after breakfast @ 09.00 am, we proceed for the Nature walk. After that we drive to the Nilgiri hills, Ooty. The popular one Hill station Ooty is a shorter derivation of its original name Udhagamandalam, sometimes also Ootacamund. In earlier times it was also called OttaikalMandu. In Ooty you will visit the botanical garden. It was created in 1847 and is one of the most beautiful gardens in India. You will then visit a tea factory and observe how the tea is made is produced.
Check into the Hotel. Afternoon @ 02.30 pm, we proceed for the city tour, visit places like St. Stephen's church, botanical Garden,local markets etc.. Rest of the free to relax.

Today after breakfast @ 08.00 am we proceed towards Ooty Railway Station to board the Train to Coonoor. This train ride on a narrow-gauge mountain railway through the Nilgiris scenic area between Ooty and Conoor. Afterwards you will continue drive to Munnar . It is a a major center of Kerala’s tea industry, and close to Anamudi (2695 m), the highest peak in South India. It is surrounded by about 30 tea estates, among the highest in the world, and forest that is still rich in wildlife, including the reclusive Nilgiri Tahr. Check into the hotel. After an early breakfast (09.00 am) we proceed for a soft trekking with guide & packed lunch. After the trekking proceed for sight seeing of this beautiful hill station. Visit Tea Factory, etc…You can also scroll through the beautiful tea plantations and the local markets.. Rest of the free to relax.

After breakfast @ 09.00 am, we drive to the Highland, Thekkday. On the way there you will visit one Spice plantation. During a walk you will learn a lot about Indian spices and their ingredients Use. The next item on the program is the Periyar National Park. In the afternoon @ 02.00 pm, take a boat ride on Periyar Lake. On this trip you have the opportunity to observe the animals in their natural habitat. There are elephants, samba deer, Wild boars, monkeys and much more. With a bit of luck we might even spot Indian tigers. After the boat ride we drive to a local theater to witness the famous martial arts show of Kerala, Kalarippayattu. Rest of the day free to relax.

After breakfast @ 08.00 am, you continue to Alleppey (approx. 53km). Upon arrival, check up a Luxury houseboat where you will spend the night. Our boat trip goes through the Backwaters, a unique water landscape consisting of a branching network of waterways and lagoons. Here you can see fishermen at work and experience their lives Watch the locals from the boat. An evening highlight is watching the sunset watch from the boat. Information: The houseboats offer air conditioning, and the bedrooms have a shower and toilet equipped.

Day 11 09/01/26(Fri) Alleppey Backwaters -Kochi (70 km /1 hrapprox)
Today after breakfast @ 09.00 am, we proceed towards to Kochi. Kochi was already before the time of Portuguese rule, around 1500 AD, an important trading port, mainly bringing spices to China and the Middle East were shipped. During a walk you can see Kochi's old town, which has many antique dealers. Here you can also visit the Franciscan Church, which was built in 1503 AD. It was built in the 1st century BC and where Vasco da Gama is buried. Afternoon 02.30 pm we proceed for the sightseeing of this historical city. Other destinations on our sightseeing tour are the Basilica of Santa Cruz and the Dutch Palace. After sightseeing you can enjoy a short Tuk Tuk ride. Then you can enjoy the famous dance drama of Kerala, Kathakali, in a nearby theatre. Rest of the day free to relax.
